D’Orazio oil mill was founded in ’30ies by the initiative of the family’s forefather, in a suggestive area of Conversano countryside not far from the sea, a picturesque corner on Puglia hills.
The mill, family conducted, has been recently renovated with new machineries, combining tradition and innovation to better exaltate taste and perfumes of the Evo.
Olive oils are made from Olivastro, Cima di Mola, Leccino, Nociara, Coratina and Simone varieties, with olives both cultivated in the company’s olive groves and bought from other farms, but exclusively grown in Conversano area, preferring quality to quantity. D’Orazio oil mill also sells a wide selection of typical products such as marinated vegetables, taralli (made with its own Evo), almonds and pasta. Mills’ visitor during the milling period can participate in production and taste the newborn Evo, along with selection from Ciccio Dorazio products line.
